I am a 22-year-old, and I yearn for a place.
The local church I attended throughout high school was influential in my faith, surrounding me with mentors that left permanent impressions. Involved in InterVarsity in college, I was able to turn around and be that mentor to my peers as we sought to bring God’s kingdom to Virginia Tech.
I am anticipating entering vocational ministry in the next three years. I am not so naïve to suggest such leadership will be without struggle. As an incoming seminarian, I’ve been flooded with advice concerning the importance of work-life balance and the value of a personal relationship with the Lord amidst mere theological study.
